In the interzone playoffs, the Neepawa Tigers defeated the Roblin Goose Lake Angels 46-40 in overtime. The score was knotted at 40 after regulation. Tanya Jarvis led the Tigers with 16. Julie Ebner scored 4 of her 7 points in overtime. Kim Nernberg led the Angels with 11.

In the wild card game, the Birtle Falcons crushed The Pas Joe A. Ross Flyers 75-53 as Renee Ewbank scored 24 and Pam Cole 22. The Flyers included Marlene Marion.

In the quarterfinals, held in Teulon, the top-seeded Teulon Saints whipped the 8th-seeded Birtle Falcons 74-42 as Lisa Bodnarus scored 23, Jackie Willis 21, Karla Willis 13, Holly Johnson 10, Chrissie Ambrose 4, Pam Skrabek 2 and Stacy Dyck 1. Renee Ewbank led the Falcons with 18. The Falcons (coached by Mr. Robertson) also included Pam Cole, Stacy Gooda, Jennifer Lougheed.

        The 3rd-seeded Morden Mohawks dispatched the 6th-seeded Norway House Cougars x-x.

The 5th-seeded Neepawa Tigers dumped the 4th-seeded Morris Mavericks 75-33. The Mavericks included Steph Brown.

In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Niverville Panthers dumped the 7th-seeded Killarney Raiders 62-50 as Cara Braun scored 28, including 5 treys. The Raiders included Kelly Spiers.

In the semi, the top-seeded Teulon Saints defeated the Neepawa Tigers 71-46 as Jackie Willis scored 20, Holly Johnson 16, Karla Willis 14, Lisa Bodnarus 11, Stacy Dyck 7 and Chrissie Ambrose 3. The Saints led 35-16 at the half. Tanya Jacobson paced the Tigers with 16. Pam McLeod added 12 and Julie Ebner 10. The Tigers also included Tanya Jarvis.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Niverville Panthers defeated the Morden Mohawks 45-42 as Melanie Peters scored 12.

        In the bronze medal match, the Morden Mohawks thumped the Neepawa Tigers 51-33. The Tigers (coached by Kerri Hayhurst) included Natalie O’Donnell, Tanja Jacobson, Pam McLeod, Julie Ebner, Tanya Jarvis, Natalie O’Donnell.

        In the final, the top-seeded Teulon Saints defeated the 2nd-seeded Niverville Panthers 48-34 as tournament MVP Jackie Willis scored 16, including 12 in the final quarter. Lisa Bodnarus added 14, Holly Johnson 8, Stacy Dyck 4, Karla Willis 4 and Teresa Olson 2. Cara Braun led the Panthers with 22. The Panthers led by eight in the second half “before the wheels came off,” Niverville coach George Butz told the Steinbach Carillon. The Saints led 23-19 at the half. The Saints finished (18-14) on the season.
