In the quarterfinals, held in Brandon, the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings stomped the Flin Flon Kopper Kweens 37-15 as Jan Lowry scored 11, Joanne Kemp 8 and Judy Ponchinco 5. Roberta Devine led the Kopper Kweens with 5. The Vikings led 10-3, 16-6 and 27-10 at the quarters.

        The Miami Midland Marlins edged the Winnipeg Garden City Gophers 32-28 as Merle Sandercock scored 15 and Laura Lawson 5. E Branicki led the Gophers with 14. C Dilay added 7. The Marlins led 8-7, 16-12 and 27-21 at the quarters.

        The Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions whipped the Roblin Goose Lake Angels 42-27 as Cecilia Cooper scored 12, Linda Craigie 6, Janice Hoffman 5, Brenda Joss and Sandy MacTavish 4. Zenovia Horbay paced the Angels with 14. Gertie Safronetz added 6. The Lions led 13-4, 28-12 and 37-20 at the quarters. The Angels also included Mary McRae.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Portage la Prairie Pats (then the Trotters) whipped the Hamiota Huskies 42-27 as Addy Ryngach scored 23 and Frankie Little 16. The Huskies led 12-11 after one quarter. The Pats led 24-16 at the half and 31-22 after three quarters. Karen Anderson paced the Huskies with 12. Glenda Kirk added 6, Janice English 5, Garda Williams 4, Audrey Brooks 2, Bonnie Mundell 2, Lynn Woods 2 and Dawn McConnell 1. In the semis, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions defeated the Portage La Prairie Trotters 33-27.

        In the other semi, Winnipeg Miami Marlins defeated the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings 32-24. The Vikings led 9-8 after one quarter. The Marlins led 17-14 at the half and 24-21 after three quarters. Merle Sandercock led the Marlins with 13. Jan Lowry paced the Vikings with 8. Judy Ponchinco added 7 and Darlene McKenzie 6.

        In the final, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions captured their second consecutive crown with a 36-21 victory over the Winnipeg Miami Marlins as Cece Cooper scored 13, Janice Hoffman 8 and Brenda Joss 6. Laura Lawson led the Marlins with 9. Pat Crozier added 5. The Lions led 7-6, 12-10 and 33-18 after the quarters.
