The junior Clippers (coached by C Kerr, manager E Suttie) included Caroline Jordan, Joy Campbell, Clare Nesbett, Elva Hartley, Brenda Davis, Sharon Kelly, Carol Brown, Joan Campbell, Marilyn Abram, Joan Reinsch, Jane Davis, Virginia Russell, Carolyn reed, Marilyn Atkinson, Anne Stephens, Nancy Bleeks, Dorothy Froese, Janet Parr, Nancy Chadwick, Jane Bancroft and Carol Davis.

        The Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings (then the Brandon Collegiate Wheat Queens) clocked the Winnipeg United College (affiliated with the U of Manitoba) Bisonettes 26-17 as Joan Atcheson scored 12. United College was coached by Dick Tettamanti.

        The Winnipeg Kelvin Clippers dusted the Dauphin Clippers 21-7. The Clippers included Joan Wright, Roberta Nicholson, Amelia Rzenoski, Ivelia Barr, Diane Monson, Edith Sumpter, Marlene Merrell, Betty Anderson, Colleen Burr, Betty Hunt, Thelma Willis and Evelyn Lake.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions dispatched the Portage la Prairie Pats 22-13. Marlene Cail led the Pats with 7. The Pats also included Mary Nicholson, Sandra Owens, Anna May Heward, Beverley Bell, Donna Williams, Joyce King, Denyse Muir, Pat Prior, Barbara Will, Heather Preece, Beverley Howe, Lois Dornbush and Gwenneth Muir.

        In the semis, the Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens stomped the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings 26-7. The Vikings failed to score a field goal, hitting all of their points on free throws. Angie Kyba led the Kopper Kweens with 9.

        In the other semi, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions nipped the Winnipeg Kelvin Clippers 16-14 as Dorie Astley scored 11. Mary Dennison led the Clippers with 7.

In the final, the Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens clipped the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions 27-18 after leading 16-12 at the half. Angie Kyba paced the Kopper Kweens with 15. Norma Duncan added 4 and Jackie Masson 4. Maxine Dixon led the Lions with 9. Dorie Astley added 5.
