Cougars coach Jacquie Metcalf told the Valley Leader “we’re very, very proud of them. It’s a talented, super group of players. … They changed their style of play according to the team they were facing. Whatever type of game the other team was playing, they [adapted] played that way too.” Metcalf added that Tim Dunn was “really our anchor. … We’ve got a strong starting group, strong bench… just really good depth. The entire team contributes and makes a difference.” The Cougars finished (23-0) on the season.
