        In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded Gretna Mennonite Collegiate Blues edged 10th-seeded Killarney Raiders 67-64 as Bernie Rempel hit 4-4 from the line in the final minute. The Raiders had been seeded number on the province before losing 6-7 centre Darren Boak to an injury. Shondeil Sabad led the Raiders with 22. Ken Bartley added 18. The Raiders (coached by Bruce Lyons) also included Brad Jersak, Darren Boak, Murray Chapman.

        The 2nd-seeded Gimli Lakers dusted the 9th-seeded Steinbach Sabres 68-54. The Sabres included Ken Friesen, Merv Voth, Doug Kreutzer.

        The 3rd-seeded Gretna Westgate Mennonite Hawks dumped the 8th-seeded Neepawa Tigers 55-39 as Bernie Rempel scored 20. The Tigers included Patrick Traill, Darren Roe, Bryan Gray.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Goose Lake Roblin Raiders defeated the 7th-seeded Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kings 50-48 as Kirk Nattrass scored 14 and Dave Todorovich 14. Curtis Jerome led the Kopper Kings with 18.

        In the semis, Burke Toews scored 24, including 20 in the fourth quarter, as the 3rd-seeded Winnipeg Westgate Mennonite Knights upset the 2nd-seeded Gimli Lakers 59-58.

In the other semi, the 4th-seeded Roblin Goose Lake Raiders defeated the top-seeded Gretna Mennonite Collegiate Institute Blues 57-54 as Rocky Storozinsky scored 19. The Blues led by 15 at the half. Bernie Remple paced the Blues with 16. Merl Neufeld added 14.

In the bronze medal match, the top-seeded Gretna Mennonite Collegiate Blues dusted the 2nd-seeded Gimli Lakers 69-55 as Bernie Remple scored 28. Barry Cherepak led the Lakers with 17. The Lakers (coached by Jerry Jonasson) also included Peter Bjornson, Greg Varnes (moved to Winnipeg in midseason), Mark Kowerko, John Sutton, Jerry Litwin.

        In the final, the 3rd-seeded Gretna Westgate Mennonite Collegiate Hawks defeated the 4th-seeded Roblin Goose Lake Raiders 71-62 as Colin Friesen scored 24 and Burke Toews 20. Robert Yeo paced Roblin with 20. David Todorovich added 14. “We didn’t play well,” said Raiders coach Morris Antosh told the Dauphin Herald. “Rob was doing it all himself. We could have beat them.”
