        In the last quarterfinal, the 6th-seeded Steinbach Regional Sabres defeated the 3rd-seeded Gimli Lakers 66-57. The Lakers (coached by Jerry Johansson) included Dwight Franz, Greg Varnes, John Sutton, Jerry Litwin.

        In the semis, the Selkirk Lord Selkirk Regional Royals defeated University of Winnipeg Collegiate Wesmen 47-36 as Danny Spear scored 20.

In the other semi, the Winkler Garden Valley Zodiacs defeated Steinbach Regional Sabres 65-51 as John Goosen scored 31.

In the bronze medal match, the University of Winnipeg Collegiate Wesmen crushed the Steinbach Regional Sabres 60-37. The Sabres included Joe Pritchett, Erwin Heide, Roger Loewen, Ken Friesen, D Neufeld.

        In the final, the Selkirk Lord Selkirk Regional Royals exploded for a 19-6 run in the fourth quarter to defeat the Winkler Garden Valley Zodiacs 64-50. Tournament MVP Ed Still led Selkirk with 18 points. Rick Derksen hit 33 for Winkler. The game was tied at 33 at the half. Selkirk was ahead 45-44 at the three-quarter mark.
