        The Dauphin Clippers edged the Gimli Lakers 47-46 after rallying from a 34-31 deficit. The Lakers included Richard Waller, Bryan Gottfried, Calvin Chudd.

        The Winkler Garden Valley Zodiacs dispatched the Russell Major Pratt Trojans x-x. The Trojans (coached by Ed Thom and L Derkach) included Brad Robin, Brian Klimack, Cliff Zimmer, Murray Flagas, Bob Jackson, Don Marshall, Dan Swedberg and Earl Marshall.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Selkirk Lord Selkirk Regional Royals defeated the Swan River Swan Valley Tigers x-x. The Tigers (coached by Duane Whyte, assisted by Dave Madill and managed by Alvin Hiebert) included Bruce Tigg, Jim Ready, Peter Lepage, Trent Kohan, Lyle Torrie, Randy Lasiuk, Ken Wright, Nelson Fulford, Kevin Kirkpatrick, Bob Allen, Tom Lepage, Gord Hagman, Larry Parsons, Ken Kettner, Dean Eisner and Gerald Gowley.

        In the semis, the Selkirk Lord Selkirk Regional Royals defeated the Thompson R.D. Parker Trojans x-x (by nine)

        In the other semi, the Dauphin Clippers dispatched the Winkler Garden Valley Zodiacs 46-42 after rallying from a 36-31 after three quarters.

        In the bronze medal match, the Thompson R.D. Parker Trojans clipped the Winkler Garden Valley Zodiacs 56-42.

In the final, the Dauphin Regional Clippers defeated the Selkirk Lord Selkirk Regional Royals 62-57. The Clippers finished (20-3) on the season. The Clippers rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit to pull out the win with a 19-10 run down the stretch. They trailed 47-43 after three quarters but Bob Genoway tied the score at 55 on a runout layup and hit a free throw on an and-one. Darrell Drebnisky added a bucket on a feed from Trent Lintick and a pair of free throws to ice the win. Harold Wellborn added a bucket before the Royals closed out the scoring with a meaningless hoop. Lintick paced the Clippers with 19. Bob Genoway added 16. Rick Fewchuk led Selkirk with 25. The Clippers had starters Jamie Simpson (second quarter) and Gordon Fidierchuk (third quarter) foul out but prevailed on the ballhandling of Lintick and the perimeter shooting of Genoway.
