In the quarterfinals, the 2nd-seeded Winnipeg Windsor Park Royals dumped the 7th-seeded Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kings 64-51. Jamie Suppes was chosen player of the game for the Royals, while Chad Ticzon earned the laurels for the Kopper Kings.
The 6th-seeded St. Norbert Celtics stunned the 3rd-seeded Dauphin Clippers 88-81. Thane Greer was chosen player of the game the Celtics, while Chanse Kornik earned the laurels for the Clippers. The Clippers also included Kevin Thompson.
The top-seeded Brandon T.A. Neelin Spartans whipped the 8th-seeded Winnipeg Springs Christian Academy Eagles 95-64. Sterling Nostedt was chosen player of the game for Spartans, while Eric Turenne earned the laurels for the Eagles.
In the last quarterfinal, the 5th-seeded Winnipeg Elmwood Giants defeated the 4th-seeded Winnipeg Westgate Mennonite Wings 74-69. Tony Khamphavong earned player of the game honors for the Giants, while Kyle Wiebe earned the laurels for the Wings.
In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Winnipeg Windsor Park Royals clipped the 6th-seeded St. Norbert Celtics 66-48. Garett Sidor was selected player of the game for the Royals, while Paul Young earned the laurels for the Celtics.
In the other semi, the top-seeded Brandon T.A. Neelin Spartans crushed the 5th-seeded Winnipeg Elmwood Giants 92-45. Sterling Nostedt was chosen player of the game for the Spartans after scoring 28. Garrett Popplestone added 10 and Mike Kuzmick 10. Darius Cepulis was chosen player of the game for the Giants.
In the bronze medal match, the 6th-seeded St. Norbert Celtics crushed the 5th-seeded Winnipeg Elmwood Giants 85-65. Adam Holik was chosen player of the game for the Celtics, while Winnipeg Kelvin Whenzle earned the laurels for the Giants.
In the final, the 2nd-seeded Winnipeg Windsor Park Royals edged the top-seeded Brandon T.A. Neelin Spartans 64-62 in overtime. Craig Adolphe was chosen player of the game for the Royals, while Sterling Nostedt earned the laurels for the Spartans. Jamie Suppes paced the Royals with 23. Garret Sidor added 16. Spartans coach Don Thomson said “we
had a shot in regulation to win it and just missed it. It went two thirds of the way in. But that’s the way it rolls.”
