Victoria St. Margaret’s bombed the Lumby Charles Bloom Timberwolves 72-21 as Marnie Dangerfield scored 20. Kari Cox led the Timberwolves with 21. The Timberwolves also included Jenny Curry, Melinda Waines.
Vancouver Total Education clocked the Hazelton Spartans 54-28 as April Hendrickson scoreed 28. Karine Wilson led the Spartans with 12. The Spartans also included Heather Morrison.
In the last quarterfinal, the Osooyos Rattles defeaed the Agassiz Eagles 53-46 as Anita Leibel scored 20. Vero Pesch led the Eagles with 16. The Eagles also included Dierdre Ball.
In the semis, Jeannette Bailey notched 22 as the Dawson Creek Ron Pettigrew Christian Blazers defeated Victoria St. Margaret’s 73-48. Marnie Dangerfield led St. Margaret’s wit 21.
In the other semi, Vancouver Total Education torched the Osoyoos Rattlers 51-26 as Jackie Deslauriers scored 25. Anita Leibel led the Rattlers with 8.
In the bronze medal match, the Victoria St. Margaret’s defeated the Osoyoos Rattlers 56-49 as Marnie Dangerfield scored 23. Susan Castanho led the Rattlers with 10. The Rattlers also included Anita Leibel.
In the final, the Dawson Creek Ron Pettigrew Christian Blazers captured their second consecutive title by defeating alternate school Vancouver Total Education 73-63 in overtime. Jeannette Bailey paced the Blazers with 27. Jacquie Deslauriers led Total Ed with 34. `
