The Prince George D.P. Todd Trojanettes whipped the Hazelton Spartans 77-63 as Dolores Buljevic scored 20, Raj Johal 19 and Sherrie Theisen 15. The Spartans (coached by Claudette Lavoie) included Laura Wilson, Laureen Weget, Joyce Wipson, Carole Hobenshield, Julie Maitland, Carrie Wilson, Kathy Hamill and Cheryl Stewart.

The Kamloops Westsyde Whundas dispatched the Agassiz Eagles 47-32.

In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Aldergrove Totems torched the Victoria Dunsmuir Dragons 71-43 as Allison Wells scored 33.

In the semis, the Vanderhoof Nechako Valley Viqueens clipped the Kamloops Westsyde Whundas 55-45 as Susan Ewanick scored 25, Dianne Nefat 10, Michelle Fitzpatrick 10, Ronda Van Dolah 4 and Tanya Hooper 4.

In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Aldergrove Totems dispatched the Prince George D.P. Todd Trojanettes 54-49 as Allison Wells scored 19.

        In the bronze medal match, the Kamloops Westsyde Whundas defeated the Prince George D.P. Todd Trojanettes 39-38.

        In the final, after two years as a bridesmaid, the 2nd-seeded Aldergrove Totems turned the tables on the Vanderhoof Nechako Valley Viqueens, avenging their 1982 final loss with a 52-33 victory. Vanderhoof had led 14-9 at the quarter but scored only two points in the second frame as Aldergrove pulled away. Theresa McDonald and Michelle Sather contained Vanderhoof star Susan Ewanick to 13 points, while Aldergrove’s Allison Wells’ was pouring in 19. Yvonne Colletta added 18, including 14 in the second half. “There’s only one team we went there hoping to play,” said Aldergrove coach Pat Lee. “The kids executed like I’ve never seen before. … They didn’t want to get stuck with a choke label. We may have caught them on an off night but our defence was just awesome. Every time they tried to shoot, someone was sticking a hand in their face.” Lee told the Abbotsford News that “we’re known for our defence and with it, we frustrated the Viqueens. They couldn’t do a thing with their offence.” Lee told the Langley Advance “we blew ‘em away. It’s as simple as that.” The Viqueens finished (41-5) on the season. Viqueen Rhonda Van Dolah sported a black eye after being knocked down several times in the physical affair. Ronda Van Dolah added 8 for the Viqueens, Michelle Fitzpatrick 5, Denise Dickson 4, Dianne Nefat 2 and Tanya Hooper 1.
