The Mustangs (coached by Pete McPhedra, manager Lois Niessen) also included Bernice Kohlman, Shari Carvat, Randi Reid, Pat McNulty, Collee Dalton, Jo-Ann Hannah, Bonnie Ehlers, Wendy Reid, Penny Olson, Linda Langley and Sharon Feltman.

In the semis, the Salmon Arm Jewels whipped the Victoria Claremont Spartans 45-25.

In the other semi, the Nanaimo District Hubetts dispatched the New Westminster Hyacks 38-30 as Laurie Sawden scored 16.

In the bronze medal match, the New Westminster Hyacks edged the Victoria Claremont Spartans 25-23 as Jo-Ann Meehan scored 7 and Debbie Phelan 7. Dianne Benn led the Spartans with 10. The Spartans also included Lorraine Benn, Brenda Brackenbury, Mary Campbell, Barb Cunningham, Linda Denoni, Elaine Eykermens, Elizabeth Lax, Barb Munro, Cheryl Quayle and Peggy McHattie.

In the final, the Salmon Arm Jewels repeated as champions, after nipping the Nanaimo Hubetts (now the Islanders) 34-32. The Jewels led 9-8 after one quarter. Nanaimo led 17-15 at the half. The Jewels led 27-23 after three quarters as post Linda Willard took command. She finished with 16 points while Christa Sperlich added 13. Laurie Sawden paced the Islanders with 19. Eloise Dunbar added 4, Gail Curtis 3, Pat Jones 2, Andrea Smith 2 and Lynn Stevens 1, while Sharon Ward was scoreless.
