In the quarterfinals, Mike Wicken scored 17 in Vancouver Lord Byng Grey Ghosts 74-60 win over the Golden Eagles. Brent Weber led the Eagles with 20.

The Princeton Rebels edged the Delta Seaquam Seahawks 66-62 as Mark Luecke scored 26 and Ed Anderson 22. Steve Mitten led the Seahawks with 18. Tony Masi added 15.

The Victoria Dunsmuir Demons stomped the Merritt Panthers 77-49 as Terry Kurvers scored 26. Brian Christiansen led the Panthers with 14.

In the last quarterfinal, the Langley Mountain Eagles edged the Prince George Kelly Road Roadrunners 58-53 as Paul Sedun scored 22. Art Lamothe led the Roadrunners with 21. “They didn’t beat us, we beat ourselves,” Roadrunners coach Kim Koehn told the Prince George Citizen. “We didn’t shoot very well. We were throwing up bricks there for a while.”  The Roadrunners also included Trevor Dalziel, Greg Jago, Casey Caplette, Guy McEvoy.

In the semis, the Vancouver Lord Byng Grey Ghosts defeated Langley Mountain Eagles 76-63 as Bob Wicker hit for 37 points. Mountain was led by Tony Harris’ 17 points.

In the other semi, Victoria Dunsmuir nipped the Princeton Rebels 94-92 as Terry Kuivers scored 34 and Copie Witt 26. Princeton was paced by Ed Anderson’s 40 points. Mark Lueke added 25.

In the bronze medal match, the Princeton Rebels defeated the Langley Mountain Eagles 87-68. The Eagles included Paul Sedun, Tony Harris.

In the final, the Vancouver Lord Byng Grey Ghosts defeated the Victoria Dunsmuir Demons 85-70 as Steve Clements scored 32 and Mike Wicker 29. Dunsmuir was paced by Mark Richards 23 and Terry Kurvers 22. Copie Witt added 16. The Ghosts led 44-43 at the half and outscored the Demons 24-13 in the final quarter to become the only school in BC to have both the AAA and AA titles.
