In the quarterfinals, the Revelstoke Mountaineers thrashed the Saanichton Stelly’s Stingers 76-35.
The Creston Prince Charles Comets stunned the Hope Mustangs 74-68. The Mustangs led 19-12 after one quarter and 31-30 at the half. The Comets led 55-52 after three quarters. Brian Glennie paced the Mustangs with 32. Mike Jacobs added 14, along with 12 boards, Greg Morrow 13 and Roger Medley 9. The Mustangs (coach Lou Kraszlany, manager Barry Gannon) also included David Stalmack, Dean Hootnick, Glen McDonald, Pat Haw and Reggie Mulligan.
The Vancouver University Hill Hawks clubbed the Vanderhoof Nechako Valley Vikings 108-82 as Brad Walters scored 34 and Danny Varnais 23. The Vikings included Bruce Leslie, Allan Chubak, Gary Simrose, Elvis Fjellner, Brian Grantham, Ken Finnie, Mike Chow, Tom McKay, Randy Wallace, Keith Federink and Shane Dunn.

In the semis, the Summerland Rockets defeated the Vancouver University Hill Hawks 83-77.
In the other semi, the Creston Prince Charles Comets defeated the Revelstoke Mountaineers 67-65.
In the bronze medal match, the Vancouver University Hill Hawks dispatched the Revelstoke Mountaineers 87-78.
In the final, the Creston Prince Charles Comets defeated the Summerland Rockets 84-79. Comets coach Denis Begin later was an assistant on the 1984 Steveston squad that captured the AAA title.
