In the final, the Avonmore Tagwi Secondary Warriors defeated the Acton District Bearcats 51-37 as sisters Tracey and Heidi Hollingdrake scored 20 and 12 points respectively. Kelly Conroy added 13. Tagwi led 27-13 at the half. Tagwi coach Claude Lapierre told the Cornwall Standard Freeholder that “total teamwork” was the difference. “Every single girl on our team demonstrated leadership abilities during the tournament. Tracy and Heidi have led this team all year but the other girls showed they could really handle the pressure.”
