Friedmann told the Kitchener-Waterloo Record that team chemistry was the foundation of the win. “We all just like to have fun. We know the game of basketball has to be fun. We know how to balance the two. We know when to have fun and when to be serious.” Admiring his medal, Friedman said “it looks great. A lot better than silver.”
