The 3rd-seeded Lions had forced the extra session when Steve Visser hit a four-foot jumper with 10 seconds remaining on the clock to knot the score at 66. Visser finished with 26. The Lions hit 8-8 from the line in overtime. David Eyre added 17 points, Scott Wykes 14 and Bill Woods 12. The Lions led 35-32 at the half. Frank Femla paced the Wyverns with 35.

The Oakville Gordon E. Perdue (now St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic) Raiders stunned the 2nd-seeded Parkhill North Middlesex Marauders 61-55 as Al Stredda scored 23. Rob McGregor led the Marauders with 28.

The Timmins O’Gorman Knights dumped the Guelph St. James Lions 60-44 as Scott Jason scored 20. Tony Puscetta led the Lions with 13.

In the last quarterfinal, the Rockcliffe Ashbury Colts dispatched the Blind River W.C. Eaket Royals 46-38 as Noah Cantor scored 13. Jeff Mitchell led the Royals with 12. The Royals also included Gord Lennin, John Bobiwash, Brian Stoneman, Mike Zweerink.

In the semis, the Elgin Rideau District Lions defeated Oakville Gordon E. Perdue (now St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic) Raiders 50-48 when Scott Wykes hit a five-foot jumper with 18 seconds remaining on the clock. Steve Visser led the Lions with 13. David Eyre added 10. Rideau District led 25-20 at the half. Perdue included Suman Bhaskar, Danny Radice, A Sfredda, John Prostran.

In the other semi, the Timmins O’Gorman Knights defeated the Rockcliffe Ashbury Colts x-x.

       In the bronze medal match, the Rockcliffe Ashbury Colts defeated the Oakville Gordon E. Purdue Raiders 61-51 as Jon Wood scored 20 and Noah Cantor 20.

In the final, the Timmins O’Gorman Knights defeated the 3rd-seeded Elgin Rideau District Lions, (then Crosby South Rideau Heights) 62-52. O’Gorman led 16-11 after one quarter, and 24-19 at the half and then exploded for a 22-7 run in the third quarter. Rideau District coach Ron Stenzl told the Kingston Whig-Standard that his troops “went flat for three or four minutes. There seemed to be a lid on the basket. When we started to miss, they got a little bit of confidence. Their outside shooters jammed some three-pointers. It was tough for us to get back. A 20-point lead is hard to overcome. … We scouted them all week and they came out strong in the first quarter. They were taking 13-point leads after the first quarter. Our goal was not to get blown out early because they tend to get ordinary after that.” Brian Marks led O’Gorman with 19 points, including five treys. The Lions also hurt themselves by hitting only 9-21 from the line. Scott Hallady paced the Lions with 16. Steve Visser added 13 and Scot Wykes 10.
