In the other semi, the Strathroy Saints clubbed the Orillia District Blues 52-36.
In the bronze medal match, the Orillia District Blues whipped Belleville Collegiate 80-49.
In the final, the Welland HVS Tigers defeated the Strathroy Saints 57-51 on the strength of their fast break, their pressure defence and the scoring of Phil Tamburino, who scored 24 (also reported as 23). Jim Watson added 18 (also reported as 20). The Tigers finished (26-4) on the season. Walt Woloshko paced the Saints with 18.
