Madison Kolbeck led the Lancers with 10.

        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Middle Lake Avengers defeated the 2nd-seeded Asquith Athletics 67-61 after leading 26-25 at the half. Jo-Lee Brockman led the Avengers with 20. Stephanie Quittenbaum paced the Asquiths with 21.

        In the bronze medal match, the 2nd-seeded Asquith Athletics dispatched the 4th-seeded Lake Lenore Lancers 61-53 after leading 26-25 at the half. Erika Quittenbaum led the Athletics with 24. Karlene Brinkman led the Lancers with 16. The Lancers (coached by Curtis Strueby, assisted by Brittany Berscheid) also included Madison Kolbeck.

        In the final, the top-seeded Kenaston Kodiaks edged the 3rd-seeded Middle Lake Avengers 53-47 after leading 28-26 at the half. “It was hard-fought,” Kodiaks co-coach Jenna Zdunich Fisher told the Davidson Leader. “It was a battle, like it always is in that last game of the year. They gave everything they got, and so did we. … It’s always nice to have that last game of the day. We don’t have to rush off the court at the end.” The Kodiaks led 28-26 at the half. Ann Ulmer paced the Kodiaks with 17. Rachael Matovich added 10 and Morgan Taylor 10. “We really had to fight for this one,” said Fisher. “Their character showed . . . It was awesome to end (the season) with a gold this year.” Jenna Brockman led the Avengers with 15.
