        The Davidson Raiders whipped the Canora Cougars 72-32 as Vetter scored 11 and McJannet 8. The Raiders held Canora scoreless in the third quarter and the first four minutes of the fourth. Fullawka led Canora with 14. The Cougars also included Stacey Kobelka.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Kelvington Golden Hawks crushed the Foam Lake Panthers 60-28 as Taylor Pearson scored 14, Kim Lissinna 14 and Kim Blatchford 10. Brittnay Fay led Foam Lake with 15.

        In the semis, the Davidson Raiders defeated the Kelvington Golden Hawks 59-50 as Chelsey Velter scored 28 and Chandra Cool 13. Jill Reid paced Kelvington with 12. Kim Blatchford added 11.

        In the other semi, the Kinistino R.J. Humphrey Blues defeated the Meath Park Mustangs 67-55 as Brittany Jack scored 20 and Melanie Sinclair 19. Whitney Slonski led Meath Park with 18. Trish Gowen added 17.

        In the bronze medal match, the Kelvington Golden Hawks whipped the Meath Park Mustangs 59-31 as Trisha Gowen scored 12. Taylor Pearson led Meath Park with 19. Kelvington opened with a 17-1 run and dominated, holding the Mustangs without a bucket until deep in the second quarter. Kelvington led 36-4 at the half. They eased up on the pedal in the third quarter but still led 47-18 after three frames.

        In the final, the Kinistino R.J. Humphrey Blues edged the Davidson Raiders 40-33. Davidson opened strong defensively and led 18-7 after one quarter as their zone puzzled the Blues. But Kinistino’s perimeter shooters finally found their range and rallied to knot the score at 18. Davidson led 22-18 at the half. Raider foul trouble allowed the Blues to close the gap in the third quarter. Kinistino knotted the score at 27 and then both teams slowed the game to a crawl as Kinistino slowly built a 34-29 lead after three quarters. They extended their lead to seven in the final frame and held on for the win. Jamie Boyle paced Kinistino with 10 points. Chelsey Velter led Davidson with 16. The title was the Blues third in four years. The Blues held Davidson to 15 points in the final three quarters. “Once the legs started moving . . . we did a good job shutting them down,” Blues coach Tom Hazzard told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix
