        In the other semi, the Shaunavon Silhouettes defeated the Outlook Blues 57-43 as Rachel Lewans scored 23. Rayanne Brown paced Outlook with 10. Shaunavon led 29-21 at the half. The Silhouettes played uninspired ball in the first half and led Outlook High by just eight points. They outscored the Blues 25-8 in the third quarter and romped. “We put our minds on what we needed to do,” Rachel Lewans told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix.

        In the bronze medal match, the Clavet Cougars edged the Outlook Blues 76-72 in overtime as Helen Hanbidge scored 26 and Alex Thiesson 17. Rayanne Brown led Outlook with 21. Kendra Morrow added 12 and Chelsea Amy 12. Clavet led 34-26 at the half. The score was knotted at 67 after regulation play.

        In the final, the Shaunavon Silhouettes nipped the Outlook L.C.B.I. Lady Bisons 41-40 as Erika Zult scored 16. Amber Larson paced LCBI with 20. The Silhouettes overcame a 40-36 deficit in the last 1:23, led by two points from Rachel Lewans with 41 seconds left, to clinch the title. “We played until the very last second,” Erika Zult told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “Anything can happen if you don’t quit.”
