        Jenn Prokopetz scored 26 to lead the 2nd-seeded Moose Jaw Central Cyclones past the 7th-seeded Balgonie Greenall Griffins 70-51. Carla Maierhoffer led Balgonie with 16 points. The Griffins also included Jill Stinson, Amy Fahlman.

        In the last quarterfinal, Amanda Garchinski scored 25 to lead the 3rd-seeded North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders past the 6th-seeded Regina Johnson Wildcats 60-34. April Bacon led Johnson with 12. The Wildcats also included Jamie Nicoll, Christie Metz, Courtney Selinger, Chelsea Cassano, Melissa Cassano.

        In the semis, the Meadow Lake Carpenter Spartans defeated the Moose Jaw Riverview Royals 65-48 as Andrea Gislason scored 30 and Becky Sarauer 16. Meadow Lake led 27-18 at the half. Claire Tomczyk scored 18 for Riverview. Jocelynne Adams added 16. “We played pretty good defence overall,” Meadow Lake’s Becky Sarauer told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “We were very determined going in to have a good game.”

        In the other semi, the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones defeated the 3rd-seeded North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders 53-51 as Arla Cornish scored 20 and Jenn Prokopetz 16. John Paul led 34-32 at the half. Sasja Johannson led John Paul with 23. Erika Brenna added 14.

        In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders dusted the 4th-seeded Moose Jaw Riverview Royals 53-28 as Amanda Garchinski scored 20 and Sasja Johannson 14. Claire Tomczyk paced the Royals with 8 and Laura Johnston 8.

        In the final, Andrea Gislason scored 18 and Amanda Treptow 15 as the Meadow Lake Carpenter Spartans defended their title with a 66-55 win over the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones. Central had led 29-28 at the half. Jennifer Prokopetz scored 23 for Central. Stacie Longworth added 12. The Spartans trailed by one at halftime and nine in the second half, but there was no holding back them back when it counted. They went on a 17-2 run in the final minutes to repeat as provincial champs. “We had to refocus and settle down to chip away at the lead,” Meadow Lake coach Carla Waterman told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “Once we started that, the baskets started falling. My entire starting lineup graduates, so it’s nice for them to finish this way.”
