Diane Doyle added 9, Barb Robertson 8, Barb Tribe 7, Mary McDonald 6, Marilyn Johnston 5, Nita Moodie 2, Trish Spooner 2 and Jeannie McHattie 2, while Doreen Lusk was scoreless. Maggie Mamuza led Peterborough with 22. Joan Smith added 6, Ann Lang 2, Gloria Shick 2 and Ann Gray 1, while Pat Bronson; Sandra Hill, Darlene Gates, Jackie Keiler and Claudette Drilan were scoreless.

       In the other semi, the University of Saskatchewan Huskiettes thrashed the Moncton St. Patrick’s Schooners 105-39 as Gloria Clarke hit 11-16 from the floor and 1-2 from the line to rack up 23 points. Marg Curry hit 10-20 from the floor to finish with 20 points. Terry Labanas scored 11 to pace Moncton. Marilyn Leblanc added 10.

       In the bronze medal match, the Moncton St. Patrick’s Schooners defeated the Peterborough Jetettes 57-27 as Marg Mamuza scored 18 and Ann Lang 17. Peterborough was led by Marilyn Leblanc’s 9 points.

       In the final, Victoria pasted the U. of Saskatchewan 73-56 as Mary Coutts scored 21, Barb Robertson 17, Diane Doyle 12, Mary Macdonald 11, Barb Tribe 8, Marilyn Johnston 4, while Nita Moodie, Trish Spooner, Jeannie McHattie and Doreen Lusk were scoreless. The Huskiettes were led by Marg Curry 13, Gloria Clarke 11 and Pat Causey 7. Ann Hopkins added 6, Sherry Roberts 5, Ann Clarke 4, Donna Ferguson 4, Sheralyn Halter 3, Diane Whitaker 2 and Val Girsberger 1, while Judy Burns was scoreless. Rawlings shot 22-42 from the floor, while the Huskiettes were 23-89. Victoria dominated the boards, defensively and controlled the tempo. Coutts only scored four points in the first half and picked up four quick fouls so coach Howie Tooby kept her on the bench. Victoria was ahead 36-26 at half time but Saskatchewan quickly rallied to within six, forcing Coutts off the pines. She promptly hit two quick buckets and kept out of foul trouble was Victoria walked away with the crown.
