        In the semis, Ontario defeated Quebec 95-71. Mano Watsa notched 12 for Ontario.

        In the other semi, B.C. defeated Manitoba 80-71 as Randy Nohr scored 22 and Andrew Mavis 17.

        In the 5-8th-semis, Newfoundland defeated Nova Scotia 92-78. Newfoundland & Labrador (coach Gary Sooley, assistant Nash Miller) included Aaron Sullivan, Shane Butland, Jeremy Butt, Chris Gill, Paul Segueira, Mark Seabourne, Darryl Nurse, Shannon Miller, Michael Sooley, Stephan Hoddinott, Steve Beckett and Tim Beckett. Marc Chisholm and Steve Nelson each scored 16 to pace Nova Scotia. Fred Perry added 14 and Maurice Carvery 13.

        In the fifth-place playoff, Newfoundland defeated Alberta 85-75. Alberta (coached by Dave Adams) included Josh Goertzen, Rob Iszak, Kris Wiggins.

        In the bronze medal match, Quebec dispatched Manitoba 86-68. Manitoba (coach Scott Martin, assistant Joel Themmen) included Lenin Mangaron, Juphell Falcis, Luc Buller, Marlin Kraus, Colin Jones, Chris Lucas, Chris Passley, Matej Maroti, Ogo Okwumabua, Clarence Vigilance, Rob Penner and Todd MacCulloch.

        In the final, Ontario defeated British Columbia 82-69. Mano Watsa hit 11 for Ontario. Dave Wahl added 18 and Mike Schmidt 16. Ontario led 43-30 at the half.
